Netatalk in Ubuntu

Turned out to be quite easy to follow these instructions, namely.
  • editing  /etc/netatalk/afpd.conf
  • /etc/netatalk/AppleVolumes.default was already OK
  • editing /etc/nsswitch.conf
But one volume would not mount, and these instructions proved brilliant
